Established during the International Geophysical Year in 1957, the department is a premier center for geophysical teaching and research in India. We offer M.Sc. Tech, Integrated M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs.
Admitting 55 M.Sc. Tech, 21 Integrated M.Tech, 25 M.Tech and 10 Doctoral students annually.
